The Past

Every once in a while you have to look back to where you came from. The following picture is the "heart" of Haarlem. Trudy lived just around the corner.
Here is another entry of ....

Every Thursday and Sunday the producers of flyers decide we are in need of assorted advertising. Now, we have a mailbox for that very purpose. But half the time the delivery-dude does not realize this and throws the papers on the steps where they get either soaked with rain, or blow all over the yard. So we have to clean up this paper mess twice a week, and that annoys me.

Hi:)
YEH I agree with you!
Theo thats so recognisable; we (in Holland, B and I) found a solution for that, we can pick-up a sticker at the local Townhouse, this sticker you have to add/stick 'on your mailbox'.

It says "NO and NO" ,
-the first NO ; we don't like commercial post..
-second NO: we don't like mail without our name on it...

So only the postman 'should read that'and don't trow any rubish (NO & NO) in our mailbox, as/with the above resons.

This way we don't have all this "annoying post",saves us irritation and a lot of paperstuffs we NEVER read!!:)
(Unless you need paper for the open wood-fireplace hahaha!)

An Idea for you maybe? :)

Have a good weekend :)
