My original assessment was that I had a 20% chance of survival (of 5 years). I had a set-back in August 2002 when it had gone to the liver, and again they estimated my survival chances at 10%. That is now 3 years and 7 months ago, and, HELLO! - I am still here.
Yes, I had Chemo therapy in 2001. You could not find a more considerate, friendly and praying set of nurses anywhere. Apart from the sinister reason you are there, and apart from the ,hmm, side effects, that was not a bad experience. Was it the excellent doctors, was it God? Was it christians ( and yes, moslem nurses) praying for me? Or was it God leading me to the right treatment by professionals. Maybe all factors play a roll. I don't get too theoretical about it. I am still here and that is no doubt because that is what God wants for me for now. We all have an "assignment" in the body of Christ and a role to fulfill. But that is another Blog!
