Today, the 11th of February, is the birthday of my brother Henk DeCock. He lives in Brasil, where he is the president of a Bibleschool. He is also associated with a number of churches, most of which were brought to life through his work, assisted by Connie, his Brasilian wife. More recently he has been active in Japan setting up Christian churches. Happy Birthday, Henk; number 72!!
Henk and I have a special relationship. When we were young we went on numerous double dates, and we had lots of fun when we went out for an evening of "ritselen". OK, we dont do that any more. We have settled down since then but our mutual love remains. Have a great day Henk!

Henk must me my most favorite brother in law. I just love his wife Connie. When Ted was sick, recuperating from a cancered liver operation, they came over all the way from Brazil and stayed with us for six weeks. Those were indeed wonderful weeks, beside the fact of Ted's surgery of course.
I have never in my life seen such christian love in action.
I will never forget that time.
